Position: Design Technician
Location: Ruther Glen, 22546
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Shift: M-F, 8-5pm, fully on site in Ruther Glen
Compensation: $22-35/hr
Must-haves:
- Strong experience in Autodesk Revit (CAD acceptable for the right candidate)
- Open to experience from education or professionally
Plusses:
- Bachelor’s degree degree
- Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit
Responsibilities:
- Complete design tasks for typical spaces/scope based on established project standards and task-specific guidelines
- Perform spooling (assembly layout) for moderate- to high-complexity scope;
- Annotate drawings; performing data entry based on established guidelines and standards; printing and distributing sheets;
- Set up sheets; provide support for other basic model management functions;
- Create, dimension, annotate multi-discipline drawings and sketches based on coordinated model (e.g. wall and floor penetration, etc).
